Playful In Tulle

Hey sweetness! Spring break has come and gone for our crew with our family adventures peppered throughout the week, close to home - though I would not be opposed to sailing around the Caribbean, or beach bumming on the sandy shores. Maybe next year, eh?

Once again I cleaned out my closet, defying the persistent cold weather by bringing in my spring and summer clothes. Meanwhile, the older boys visited friends and the twins jumped on the trampoline or road their bikes.

Towards the end of the week we crashed in on a group of our friends who spent the weekend camping. It was important for the 6 of us to hang out together at some point.

Isn't it sad that in today's fast paced life we have to schedule time with those we love? Otherwise, time may slip by unnoticed, taking our quality moments together with it. I can be the worst when it comes to losing myself in my "to-dos". Anyone else???

Outfit Chatter:
Please allow me to welcome back my most beloved impulse buy, the tulle dress, for the 5th time (see HereHereHere, and Here if you missed the previous posts)!

"I feel playful, oh so playful..."

I'm singing this to the tune of "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story. Would it be too much to wear tulle everyday?

It gives me all frilly, feminine  and princess feels! Maybe that's why I keep bringing it back....

...this time the frilly, feminine was worn on Easter Sunday. The skies were beautifully clear but the chill in the air had me reaching for a an extra layer, as denim never makes me feel warm; hence the gray cardigan underneath. From there I grabbed the beautiful Sugar Rush necklace set by Premiere, a few coordinating bracelets and my brand new blush pink shoes from Target, which are all linked below.

And the cupcake in my hand? Well, I planned on delivering it to a friend after church service but I forgot it under my seat. The boys and I remembered when the place was cleared out. Next time, my friend next time!

  2. Cute dress on a cuter girl!!! I can see why you love this dress, it gives me all the frilly, feminine feels too! I wish my tulle skirt looked as good on me, I am still trying to style it in a way that I don't look so ginormous. It seems to be so full at the tummy and hips, ugh, the LAST thing I need I swear!!!
    Have the best Tuesday friend!

    1. Haha! That comment made me laugh out loud. This dress just happens to hang flat...so I suppose some would want their tulle skirt or dress to be more flouncy/poofy. And I've seen you style yours...you look fabulous in it! I hope you have a fabulous weekend and thanks for being such a sweet blog friend. :J)

    1. Hello Jennie! And thank you! So I missed these fabulous comments...the GIF is done by Google Photos. I store all my blog photos in Google and sometimes the "assistant" will take a collection of photos and turn it into a GIF. You can also put together you own, but most of the time I just use what is already done! :)
